Welcome to my website.

I paint on wood because I enjoy the organic feel the surface evokes. Line, shape, color, and often negative space, are the tools I use to portray my feelings of the joy and beauty of the world. The “outline’ in my work is actually where I don’t paint, allowing the wood surface to be part of the composition. My current subjects include figures interacting with the landscape and various aspects of nature.

My studio/gallery is open to the public by appointment. We're located near Furman University (off Duncan Chapel Rd.) See the Contact page for how call or email me.

I currently have a solo show of 28 paintings hanging at the Simpsonville Arts Center in Simpsonville, SC. The show will be up through May 23, 2025. The gallery is open from 1-4 p.m. on Wednesday and by appointment on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. If you would like to make an appointment to see the exhibit, please email artscenter@simpsonville.com. The art center's address is 110 Academy St, Simpsonville, SC.
There will be a closing reception on May 15th from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m.
